AR Campus Navigation App

Role: Project Manager, Video Producer, UX Design Assistant

This is an ongoing project in collaboration with Cañada College’s internship program, Menlo Studio. I lead a small development team to create an AR navigation app for students and visitors to navigate to their desired destination when other common map apps can’t get the job done. Starting on January 17th, we learned our first deadline was GDC 2025, giving us about 2 months to put basic functionality into our app. Using Niantic’s Lightship SDK, our developers used coordinates of the main entrances of the campus buildings to guide people to the right place. In preparation for GDC, I quickly pulled our team together to assemble a working demo build for a video shoot, and took video and voice recordings to provide a 2-day turnaround for a video draft. This project was a test of our development skills, production skills, as well as my coordination skills as I also coordinated our GDC booth! Pictured below: our Asana project management tool and

Bubble Battle – Global Game Jam 2025

My first Global Game Jam! I teamed up with various people from Cañada College’s CAT Club and the general community to collaborate on a game with the theme of “bubbles”. I ensured that communications between the lead designer, art team, and developers were clear, and also pushed back on game features that could not be accomplished within the skills and time frame available to us. While still a work in progress, the game is available to play on itch.io! Made in Unity. Pictured below: Notion holding all of our to-do lists, and a directory of all of our sound files.

Wynken, Blynken, and Nod Storytelling Interaction

Role: Lead Developer, Game Designer, Project Manager

Collaborator: Shoshana B. – 3D Model (fish)

This project was part of a challenge to make a game interaction and pitch using a piece of literature in the public domain as inspiration. I chose the poem Wynken, Blynken, and Nod by Eugene Field after learning the poet was a prankster and had a love for childhood nostalgia. I relate to the nostalgia in a way where my color palette reaches for 90’s nostalgia with pink, purple, and teal pastels and imagining a magical world floating in space. I used Unity to develop the game, and utilized various assets from the Unity asset store, music from Incompetech, and one AI-generated 3D model (wooden shoe boat). All four character voices were done by myself. The project is not complete yet, but I was able to produce a little trailer video for use in my pitch.
