In my final year of college, I finally discovered my childhood dream hobby—ballroom dancing! Despite my late start in the sport, I was still supportive of the community while waiting for my heat by taking photos of our teammates and friends in the community. With the knowledge I gained from the Digital Documentary course, I learned how to wait for the “moment” rather than smash the shutter button and hope for a good photo. Additionally, I honed my skills in photographing beginner dancers, which, I may add, is quite challenging. If you can’t tell who’s in the beginner level based on these photos, then I did my job!
